A Flowery Giveaway

Thank you one and all for your very kind wishes
during my recent trip to New Zealand.
It meant the world to me :)

I am finally getting my feet back on the ground and
as you can see below...I have been having a few creative moments.

I picked up these lovely, flowery, summery shopping bags at the
The English love their shopping bags and I have to say this one is a beauty.

In the spirit of being environmentally friendly
and to say thank you, I am offering three bags as a GIVEAWAY.
(Bike not included :))

I have a few other little surprises and an apron too!

All you need to do is leave a comment.
It is that simple.

If you would like to leave more than one, I would be delighted.
The more the merrier.

I am off again in a few days so to make life easier,
I will close the Giveaway on Sunday
August 15 at 6:00pm (UK)

I thank you and Tika thanks you too!

  11. Hi Jeanne!

Your trip seemed to fly by - well for me anyway! - I hope that you had a wonderful time catching up with friends and family.

Thank you so much for your comment today....aren't those travel quotes wonderful, since I finished "Eat, Pray, Love" last week, I can't stop thinking about travelling somewhere new and exotic! Although France next week will do me just fine :)

  12. What a kind gesture Jeanne! I just love the floral patterned bags and the apron too - I don't hope to win but if I did wouldn't it be lovely! I got some chocolate from a fellow-blogger last week - my first ever blog win - and I was so chuffed I wrote a post about it! Your bike is gorgeous - love the basket and bell - and I was in Hampton Court Palace back in 1977 and loved it. I spent that summer in London, just after my studies in nursing and midwifery. My best friend was doing her midwifery in Whipp's Cross Hospital and I went over to her, had a ball and survived on agency nursing all summer. What a time that was!
    all the best, Catherine.

I am trying to find a local source for Nicky Pellegrino books. Once you posted about the book, "Recipe for Life", I looked on Amazon and Borders. I can get them, but it is difficult here in the states. Any idea or source you know of?
    Thank you in advance!
    Always, Teresa

  31. hmmmmmm..... there is something kind of romantic about carrying your purchases in a non paper nor plastic regular grocery bag. Some of the grocery stores where i live no longer provide plastic or paper bags, it's a must that you provide reusable bags. I love that idea. I am also in love with my handwoven basket that I carry from market to market, just feels old school and right! Hope you are enjoying your summer Jeanne. Thank you for all our lovely comments on my blog!
